Is it really hard to try raising clowns? I know there's a book out there about it?

Clowns are probably the easiest marine fish to raise (possibly excepting cardinals), but raising marine fish is not "easy." There are several books on the subject available. I recommend Frank Hoff's "Conditioning, Spawning and Rearing of Fish With Emphasis on Marine Clownfish" and Joyce Wilkerson's "Clownfishes" to get you started.
